Hear ye, hear ye! In centuries past, a “pageant” was a platform with wheels that would roll into town and serve as a stage for a play – and though times have changed, the day has come to get our UCC Children’s Christmas pageant rolling. Our pageant will take place this Sunday, December 17th, during the first 15 or 20 minutes of the service. You can expect that the pageant will be simple and interactive, with some traditional carols the whole congregation will sing.
If your child plans to wear a costume, please arrive at 9:45 so they have time to get dressed and ready in the Church School classroom. After the Pageant, kiddos may either sit with their families for the remainder of service or come back to the classroom with me. There will also be snacks and treats after the service!
The pageant dress rehearsal is Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All are invited to join for the rehearsal, but readers or those with lines are strongly encouraged!
