Can you smile? Say hello? Carry on a conversation? Make others comfortable? If so, you are a people person, and we need you! We are formalizing a new group called the Welcome Team. Like the usher corps, the Welcome Team will rotate Sundays to be a greeter – sometimes the first face a visitor sees when walking through our doors. The Welcome Team will provide a warm welcome before the service and ensure those staying a bit after service feel that warmth and welcome again. If you are coming to church anyway, all you need to do is come a little early and stay during coffee hour – and be welcoming. Training will be provided. Ushers can also sign up for the Welcome Team.
