Youth Announcements (May 23, 2024)

Last Sunday was an incredible youth led worship service. So many people praised the youth and the amazing job that they did. We heard several sentiments of rows of people crying during the service and were moved by the genuineness and beautiful messages that the youth shared about Pentecost and diversity. Folks said it was the “best” youth service ever at this church, and that the youth were “very mature and appeared confident “! What Incredible feedback and what awesome humans you have all raised and supported!

This Sunday we continue the story of Pentecost and the dry bones story from the Ezekial passage. This story represents an aspect of Pentecost that speaks to the prophecy of the Holy Spirit’s power and divine intervention that breathes life into all things, old and new, with the heart of the message: We are not alone.

For the remainder of the school year our middle and high school groups will be combined each Sunday after church from 11:15am to 1pm. **Summer update** Youth Group will be held after church only occasionally – mark your calendars for the dates included all summer long!

Stay tuned for Youth Group programming and Confirmation for the 24/25 school year!

Camperships (scholarships for youth campers) are live NOW! We are requesting your generosity to support our youth attending Bible camp this summer. This year we have youth who are attending Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp (July 7-12), and the cost for one week at camp is $600. We would like to raise enough to pay up to half the cost of this for each camper. Please help us raise our goal of $4,000, so that we can support children and youth to go to camp and contribute to the future of camperships with any extra that we make. To donate, please follow this donation link.

You can also use our interactive display in the narthex to donate! There are tags hanging from the wall and on the table that represent different dollar amounts. Take a tag from the wall, scan the QR code with your camera and click the link to go to our PayPal page with UCC, and submit the donation amount from your tag!
