Anita Kurtz-Magee notes that she’s never written a poem before today’s Wilderness Vases and Poetry activity.
Non-Wilderness Poem
The irritating cry of a leaf blower upsets my reverieWhy must I be subjected to this blaring world
Laughter is my salvation, song and perfume
How may I reach that place
To touch peace and quiet with love may be the answer

Wilderness Poem
The rustling leaves call me to hike to the wildernessA bird urges me on
The silence and peace of the woods, the smell of the earth
Moves me
