Let’s enjoy eating fresh bread together as we reflect on the story of the Loaves and the Fishes. This is such a beautiful and rich story in the Bible to ponder. How does it feel to be fed and to feed others? We know there are people in our own community and throughout the world who are hungry or lacking in nutritious food. How do we give of what we have trust there is enough for everyone? I will have a gluten free bread option for anyone who needs it. The Youth Group has invited us to contribute to their food drive, so we will discuss this opportunity as well. A big thank you to Pastor John for a wonderful Children’s Time Sermon, as well as Sarah W, Graham R, and our older kid helpers for filling in for me as I was recovering from illness on Sunday.
This Sunday, February 4th, from 4 to 6:15 pm is the Faith and Family Gathering at Immanuel Lutheran Church. All families are invited! (See information in the Youth Group blurb).
