Hello UCC Youth & Friends,
This Sunday, all confirmation youth will meet with Pastor John immediately following worship. The youth have a lot of fun service oriented activities coming up through the holiday season. We will be hosting a cookie table at the Advent Festival, sponsoring a coffee hour for the congregation, and wrapping up socks and gloves for the Poverello Center.
Socks and Gloves? Yes, that’s right! We are going to kick off our ‘Socks’n’Gloves for the Pov’ after Thanksgiving. Starting November 28th, we will have a Bin in the Narthex for congregational members to donate new (or almost new) socks and gloves for our neighbors at the Poverello. Please contact Paige with any questions. On December 17th, our youth will gather to wrap these gifts in bandanas. Thanks to everyone in advance for their donation.
